019 – Missing Distribution For Salary Earnings

Type: Error

What It Checks: Every earning record should resolve to a GL distribution — either a directly-assigned distribution master, an accumulator group, or a rule in the distribution-salary-assignment table. Two distinct conditions are checked: (1) the earning has neither a direct distribution nor an accumulator group, and no distribution-salary-assignment rule exists at all for that earning code; or (2) a distribution-salary-assignment rule does exist for the code, but it’s scoped to a cost-centre range, and the employee’s actual cost centre falls outside that range.

What Causes It: The distribution setup utility wasn’t run after a new earning code or cost centre was added, a cost centre was renumbered outside its previously-assigned range, or a duplicate/conflicting assignment rule caused the automated distribution process to skip the record.
