If you plan to use the Reason Type System you have to first add records to the dictionary which can be found at Reason Types Dictionary.

You have to use the Security Display settings in the GL Budget entry module and the Salary Budget entry Module to enable use of Reason Types.

Enable/Disable Reason Type Entry in GL Budget Module:

Settings will be set in B: Manager – Data Entry / BA: Non-Salary:

The settings for Reason Type entry will be in the Coding Section

Right Clicking on the Reason heading node will open the security setting screen which allows you to set Visible and Write access by setting the appropriate Security Level setting.  To understand Security Level settings please go to Application Roles Page Security and Grid Layout – Move, Show, or Hide Columns and Bands .
