What It Checks: The inverse of #017 — flags salary masters linked to a worksheet that have positive benefit amounts recorded but no positive earnings at all. This state guarantees the GL and pay-period distributions will not balance, since benefits are normally driven off an earnings base.

What Causes It: Benefits were calculated or manually entered before earnings were set up for a new position, or earnings were zeroed out/removed (e.g., position frozen) without also clearing the associated benefits.
