Bug Fixes

  1. Report Writer
    • Creating a new blank system report was throwing an error.
  2. Cube Management
    • Fixed a cube audit regarding the number of views exceeding the number of views defined.
    • Main options dialog – Fixed the super tool tips to allow HTML.  This fixes the issue where the bold HTML tags were showing up as text instead of bolding the text.
  3. Process Scheduler
    • Clone batch was failing when there was records in the notify users grid.
  4. Framework – Caption Change
    • The label “Rollover” has been changed throughout the system to now be called “Roll-Forward”.  The reason for this is there is a term in accounting called means something completely different…so to avoid confusion it will now be called roll-forward.
  5. Lookups
    • Fixed the user lookups to show all relevant users (not just users with a lower security level than the user logged in).
  6. Azure
    • This release fixes an issue where the client would timeout after about 10 minutes of inactivity which would appear as a pause for about 10 seconds when trying to start reusing a session after not using it for about 10 minutes.  This is because the Azure firewall was terminating the client/server sessions too early because of what appeared to be inactive connections.  This release fixes it by issuing a keep alive type of call every minute of inactivity to keep the client/server connection live.
  7. Reports – Framework Change
    • Reports are now stored in XML format instead of the old serialized code format.  This fixes some security related issues with reports.

Enhancements

  1. Report Writer
    • When editing a report in the designer, there is now an option to use a Run Report preset.  This can make loading the designer much more useful as you will now be able to choose what data is shown in the designer preview.
  2. Vouchers
    • Added the ability to add an attachment to the vouchers page.  This will now link to the inventory table it’s being processed for.
  3. User Cross Tab (Client-Mode)
    • The following functions are are now available in the expression editor:
      • GetValueTranslation
      • GetPayPeriodEarnedHours
      • GetPayPeriodYTDEarnedHours
      • GetPeriodEarnedHours
      • GetPeriodYTDEarnedHours
  4. Inflation
    • The inflation page located under the Budget Manager tab has been reworked to be more flexible.
    • Previously a inflation master record would have a single secondary begin and end range and any number of detail inflation detail records containing cost center ranges
    • Now, the new screen is much simpler but allows for more complex filters using the Filter Control control (the same control used by run reports and cross tabs).  A user can now specify an inflation rule using any or all of the following fields:
      • Cost Centre
      • Secondary Account 
      • Cost Centre Type
      • Entity Type
      • Secondary Type
      • Secondary Account Group
    • Now when creating the new filter rules, you can now see which records will be affected.
  5. Capital Request Forms
    • Added a Print Preview to allow a user to see how the form would look if it was going to be exported to a PDF or printed.
  6. Capital Forms Activity
    • Added the following columns:
      • Funding Amount
      • Net Cost (Calculated Field: Total Cost – Funding Amount)
      • Forecast Amount
    • Generated PDF Changed
      • The generated PDF has been changed to have narrow margins and to automatically generate using landscape if using 4 or more columns
  7. Landing Page
    • Reports Page
      • Reports now listed on this page will have the option to generate the report directly or open the run reports page as it did before (showing the selected report)
  8. Process Scheduler
    • New  processes added:
      • Users can now call the “add missing items” for the capital forms activity page via the process scheduler.
  9. GL Budget Project
    • Added the following columns:
      • Funding Amount
      • Net Cost (Calculated Field: Total Cost – Funding Amount)
      • Forecast Amount
