IMP.net Client Install

IMP.net Overview

The IMP.net client is a Windows application that communicates over HTTP with the ESM.net server.  The application is installed using Microsoft’s ClickOnce technology.  This allows users without Admin rights to install products on their computer using Internet Explorer.  ClickOnce also offers auto-update technology so that ESM.net only needs to be installed once.

  1. Go to the URL that was supplied by your system administrator using Internet Explorer.  Typically it will be in the format:
  2. You should see a webpage with an Install button.  Click on it to start the installation
  3. After accepting and proceeding with the install, the new program should show up under Start, Program Files, World Software Inc., WSI ESM.net Client
