039 – Two Or More Download Rates For Same Employee And Employee Class

Type: Warning

What It Checks: Looks for an employee/employee-class combination that has more than one distinct non-zero “download hourly rate” value across their salary master records in this version. An employee working under a single employee class should have one consistent download rate; multiple different rates for the same person/class is ambiguous.

What Causes It: The employee holds multiple positions coded to the same employee class but different pay grids/steps (which produce different rates), or a rate was manually adjusted on one salary record but not on a duplicate/related record for the same person.
